Nearly 20% of the total population in this city is age 65 and older. Further, about 2% per year of the newcomers to the city are retirees as well, so average age in the community shouldn’t get too low in the coming year.

The crime rates were a bit higher than other cities, and cost of rentals was about $725 per month, which was also higher than other retirement cities in the state. Access to groceries, golf, doctors, recreation and dining, all were extremely high (with an A+) rating, for those who enjoy activities and want to find a variety of amenities in the retirement city they plan to move into.
